Asistente De Laboratorio

The Physical Lab Technician Services is responsible for testing items submitted to the lab for evaluation. A high-level of understanding of mathematics, gauge and scale interpretation, and laboratory testing equipment is essential. A solid understanding of both English and metric system is required. The Lab Technician Services is responsible for understanding and correctly performing any tests performed by the corporate lab. The Lab Technician Services must support and help maintain the lab’s ISO 17025 accreditation efforts.

This position, Lab Technician Services, reports directly to the Superintendent and provides guidance and/or support for the Global Quality Resources group as well as any requestor to the lab.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Technical school or college , university degree desirable.
The understanding and use of laboratory equipment required.
Good mathematical skills and understanding of fractions and percentages.
Must have average color perception as indicated on the Farnsworth-Munsell 100-Hue Test.
Must pass Color Blindness test
Ability to read and comprehend and create graphs.
Must have good communications skills, both verbal and written. English and Spanish
Computer skills essential, including a basic level understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be willing to work as part of the total lab team to help the lab meet its performance objective
