We are looking to hire for our GIS:Team an Corporate Application Support Specialist (m/f).

Responsibilities

You would support and manage the corporate portfolio of IT business services and IT solutions supporting Panalpina business processes globally. These IT solutions are based on variety of technologies and platforms, including SAP, Java, .NET, WebSphere, IIS, Mobile Applications. They Support the delivery of global IT business services in line with business expectations, which are reflected in SLA and focusing on Incident, Service Requests, Problem, Change and Release Management processes.

* Work collaboratively and manage relationships with IT and business stakeholders and global IT teams and 3rd parties

* Contribute to IT systems architecture, design and security discussions

* Support the implementation of IT solutions and key components of overall IT architecture and security

Qualifications

* Higher Computer Science or Information Technology education

* Minimum 3 years experience in transportation and providing IT business services and supporting IT business applications

* Good knowledge and understanding of SAP, Java/J2EE, PHP, .NET; knowledge of front:end stack would be beneficial

* Strong relational database (Informix DB2, MS SQL, etc.) knowledge

* Understanding and experience in development and support of mobile applications for iOS, Windows and Android would be a plus

* You are a team player and have a strong analytical and problem:solving mindset

* Fluent in English and willing to travel of 10
