Detalles de la oferta

The DevOps Support Technician is responsible of all system monitoring and ensure the highest uptime availability. Also, He/She is the person in charge to report, scalate and follow up the system outages, to the proper engineers team. Also Provide Tier 2 Support, that includes, identify and troubleshoot issues with OS, hardware, software and network issues within the company.

Required Skills
• Advanced hardware and software knowledge:
- Assembly
- Hardware upgrade installation
- Software upgrade installation
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (specially Excel, Visio and Project)
• Advanced networking knowledge:
- Manage switches and routers
- Manage VLANs
-Run commands (IP Config, Telnet, Trace, etc.)
• Advanced Windows Server 2008/2012 knowledge:
- Infrastructure (Roles, Features, etc.)
- Management (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Scripts, etc.)
- Troubleshooting
• Proved experience working with monitoring tools like:
- Icinga
- Grafana
- WhatsUPGold
- Solarwinds
• Basic IP Telephony knowledge
• Experience interacting with end users for technical support purpose

Required Qualifications
• Customer Service oriented
• Fully bilingual (English-Spanish)
• Proactive
• Honest
• Open to work on rotating schedules
• Self-taught person
• 3 years minimum experience in similar positions
• Ability to work under pressure

Education
• Associate degree in Systems Engineering or second year of Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering.
