Background:
Practice is a holistic medical practice that varies in multiple services of primary care. Practice has one physician and massage therapist (additional practitioners handle their own calls and schedules), which means you will more than likely answer 10-20 phone calls throughout the day. The candidate will be able to answer phone calls on their own computer through a computer app, that way you can answer remotely (it is a Voice Over Internet Provider line). If a call is missed then you can call them back through your computer app. The app can be downloaded on Windows operating system and MacOS.

Skills and Qualifications:
Must hold an active Nursing License / Medical Assistant
Understand and comply with HIPAA laws in the USA - able to take a test on the
subject for certification of understanding and compliance
Work during the business day/week - Monday-Thursday 9-6pm MDT (time in
Morelia would be 10am-7pm)
Two shifts available for part-time or one full shift for full-time. Will first start with a
part-time shift and if the right candidate then move to full-time
Hours to work: 9am-1:30pm & 1:30-6pm MDT

Must have access to a computer, smartphone and internet throughout your day
at your home office - cannot be done in a public place due to HIPAA
Have high speed Internet connection in your home office
Must answer calls and avoid them going to voicemail (will not work if you have a
current day job that requires much of your time and/or unable to answer your cell
phone)
Will need to be be a available to video chat 2-3x/day for updates that I will ask for
and may need to serve as a witness/chaperone for certain patient visits when
performing certain exams
Have proficiency in scheduling appointments via a web based electronic medical
records system. Current system used is Practice Fusion.
Be able to answer simple questions regarding the medical practice and the
physician to potential patients over the phone
Be enthusiastic, accepting and embrace complementary medicine and
acupuncture - you are the first impression to the practice so this is a must
Take messages from current/existing patients when they call
Have knowledge of using Google Drive (Docs & Sheets)
Be able to send emails to patients and vendors, as needed; knowledge of
GMASS is a plus
Handle marketing campaigns for social media marketing
Have great customer service

Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years in a BPO setting or equivalent as a nurse or in the medical field
Prior experience as a Customer Service Representative is helpful
