Please note that this is not a database administrator position it is to become part of Backend team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop complex database processes with PL/SQL.
• Develop and enhance existing procedures.
• Requirements gathering, design, development, testing and, documentation
• Leverage Oracle 11g features to their fullest.
• Support team members, database developers, for requirements analysts, in understanding data and meeting user requirements.
• Participate in performance tuning activities.
• Provide production deployment and production support as needed.
• Involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle; – and demonstrate abilities to learn both the business processes as well as new and existing technologies in a dynamic Agile team.

Required Skills/Abilities:
4+ years of experience in designing, creating and developing Oracle database systems
Strong programming/development skills using Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers and, materialized views).
Strong SQL development, SQL analytics and, tuning skills
Excellent analytic, troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills and be proactive in their daily tasks.
Experience working with development tools like Oracle SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer.
Experience working with source control management tools as GIT and Subversion.
Strong communications skills (both verbal & written) in English.

Desirable skills
Experience working with Oracle Advanced Queueing (AQ).
Experience working with reporting tools as Crystal Reports XI.
Experience working with test driven development approach.
