Analista Programador

We are looking for experienced and enthusiasts Java developers, that are on top of technology and willing to develop their career on the Big data world. This position requires a high level of knowledge of different development patterns, and at the same the opportunity to open a path in the emerging market of the big data.

Responsibilities:
•Design and development around Apache SPARK and Scala
•Extensive usage and experience with Data Frames with in Spark.
•Develop new applications and data flows based on functional requirements
•Collaboration with team members, and project managers from different areas.
•Read, extract, transform, stage and load data to multiple targets, including Hadoop and Amazon S3.
•Unit testing and debugging. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for any failed processes.
•Convert business requirements into technical design specifications and execute on them.
•Participate in code reviews and keep applications/code base in sync with version control.

Required:
•Must be able and willing to relocate in El Salvador
•Experience designing, developing, and implementing ETL/ELT
•Proven Java and Java 8 development skills
•Skills SQL on Hadoop development experience - Spark preferred
•Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
•Advance English skills (speaking, listening and reading)

Desirable skills:
•Previous experience with Scala
•Previous Hadoop experience
•Certified Apache Spark Developer is a plus
•AVRO
•Amazon Redshift
•Data visualization and reporting
•Experience with performance tuning for large data sets
•Proven experience working with, processing and managing large data sets (multi TB scale)
•Worked with relational data – SQL Server preferred
•Knowledge of Java/J2EE & Web Services
•Proven knowledge of Airflow for workflow and scheduling
•Spring X knowledge
