Purpose of the position:

Achieve sales plan objectives with assigned Customer Base and targets clients by effectively selling Panalpina's products.

Key tasks:

* Execute sales process as per corresponding procedures
* Generate business with assigned customer base and targets, in line with the Sales Plan
* Develop volume of assigned customer base
* Update CRM regularly as per corresponding procedures (visits, contacts, opportunities, opportunity cycle etc.)
* Provide information to Country Head of Marketing and Sales for "sales planning" and forecast activities on weekly basis
* Comply with agreed KPI's (visits, opportunities, quotations, volume etc.)
* Assure successful customer integration by collecting all information and properly handing over to Product as per corresponding procedures
* Involve Heads of Products in order to discuss rates and service conditions when needed
* Actively participate in RDTs when required

Decision Making Authority:

* Pricing authority within defined guidelines

Market and Industry Knowledge:

* Functional experience in air / sea / customs brokerage
* Sales experience
* Complete understanding of Panalpina (strategy and products)
* Local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers)
* Expertise and professionalism in customer contacts, understanding of customer

Skills and competencies:

* Ability to successfully execute the sales process.
* Ability to manage cross:functional interfaces (Operations and ISPs).
* Self:management (Planning, Organizing and Goal Setting, Execution)

Educational background / Work experience

* Business administration / commercial background
* Sales experience within our industry (minimum 2 years)

* Proficient in MS Office
